Art Glass---Glue Chipped Glass

Introduction: Glue chipped glass is glass that has been etched and covered in warm, wet hide glue. As the glue cools, it attaches to the rough glass. As it dries, it shrinks and rips thin shards off the surface in a fern-like random pattern.

Application: can be used in contraction glass and art glass,for example:shower door,indoor partition,astigmatism plate,etc.

Production: 1.clean the glass to remove possible grease or oil

2.lightly sandblast or etch the area of flate glass to be chipped

3.puring the warm animal glue solution upon the glass surface uniformly,allow the gule to soak for hours before waring it to ensure an even final coating on the glass

4.warm the glue to 140℉（60℃）for hours,make the gule dry up,and cracked,chipped,until it brust fully

5.remove the brusted and residual gule slice.

Use this technique and “MOKE”vertical glass cutting plotter in comnination to chip glass in selected area.firstly,mask film on clearned glass,use”MOKE”vertical glass cutting plotter to cut prepared pattern on film,tear off the part need to chip,then process accroding to the above steps.
